DREAM shares limelight in Chancellor Tan Affirmation

Chancellor Tan, in his affirmation as the 10th head of the University of the Philippines Diliman, recognized once again the Disaster Risk and Exposure Assessment for Mitigation (DREAM) Program at the investiture held last October 17, 2014 at the University Theater.

In attendance to witness the event were members of the UP faculty, student body, and workforce. Tan cited the Program in his address themed, "Building Bridges, Creating Networks." He stressed in his speech the University's duty to reconnect with the environment outside its own academic boundaries. In this he referred to the Program, especially in its potential in aiding the exploration of renewable energy, recycling, and disaster preparedness.
