UP DREAM Participates in Handa Ka Na Ba? Seminar in Galas, Quezon City

Last May 2, 2015, UP DREAM/Phil LiDAR Program participated in a workshop on disaster risk preparedness. The activity conducted by a group of Communication Research students of the UP College of Mass Communications benefitted residents of Barangay Doña Aurora, Galas, Quezon City.

Mr. Oscar Lizardo introduced the Project NOAH and the use of the NOAH website. Ms Marilou Supit presented the UP DREAM/Phil LiDAR Program and its outputs. The residents were pleasantly impressed with the new government efforts on disaster mitigation.
